“…I looked hard at these right angle drills before I picked this stuff. The head height and variable speed is exactly what sold me personally on this. None of the other drills had this minimum clearance. A cautionary note, the paddle switch is large, which makes it easy to run the drill, and easy to accidentally switch it on. And so whenever changing out drill bits UNPLUG IT! Also you should be careful whenever we put it down, as you could put it down thus that the switch kicks on. It’s certainly not easy to do, but more possible compared to the more normal style drill.

“…I bought this right angle drill to drill holes in my sill plate and foundation to install anchor bolts. My floor joists are only 2×8 so I needed this small drill because the other drills would barely fit without a drill bit. Even though this drill isn’t designed for drilling concrete it worked great. Plenty of power with little ‘kickback’ when the drill bit binds.

The light is a great feature and is more helpful than I thought it would be. The drill is also excellent for driving screws in tight places thanks to the variable speed.
